Day 189 of #LiveWell2017
So, how is this living well in 2017 experiment going?
After six months of practicing mindfulness, meditation, kindness, and generosity with greater intention, I find that I don’t have to work at it as much as I did in the beginning. It is more natural now to stop and take deep breath, to quiet my mind for a few minutes each day, to give people my full attention, to let things go, to see constant change as something to embrace, and to be kinder in my everyday life. Yet, I still have much work to do.
Although I’m practicing and making progress, I still need a nudge now and then, so finding quality sources of instruction and inspiration are helpful. I have read many books on these topics since January, and I thought I’d share my list in case you are interested in reading them yourself:

The best inspiration, though, comes from practicing and seeing results, and from being around people in real life who demonstrate mindfulness, generosity, kindness, and compassion every single day. Those people are my heroes. What about you?
